GOOD CAUSES

Save the Community Gardens. For the past 10 years, the Community Gardens at Fitzhugh and Bryan have been a part of our neighborhood — enriching our environment and providing sustenance to the large Cambodian population in the area. Maybe you buy vegetables grown in the Garden’s rich soil, and you probably never miss their annual plant sale. But now the Garden is facing severe financial difficulty, and its loss will be a loss for our community. Neighbors Bob Booker, Mary Jane Beaman, Harryette Ehrhardt, and Arch and Cassandra McCall ask you to join them in sending a tax-deductible donation to: Gardeners in Community Development (a 501(c)(3) organization); 901 Greenbriar Lane; Richardson TX 75080.
