All day Tuesday — breakfast, lunch and dinner — grab some food at Fuzzy’s Tacos in Hillside Village and support Lakewood Elementary School. Make sure when you order your food, you announce “I am supporting Lakewood Elementary” so that the schools receive a percentage of sales.
On Thursday, 5-8 p.m., order frozen yogurt at TCBY, Mockingbird and Abrams, to support Lipscomb Elementary. No need to identify yourself; the restaurant will donate a portion of all sales during those three hours.
These fundraisers are a collaboration between the Friends of Lakewood Elementary, the Friends of Lipscomb Elementary and the Woodrow Wilson High School Community Foundation. There are more to come at neighborhood restaurants such as Burger House, and we’ll let you know when.
