- Is that Angela Hunt in this dallasvoice.com post? Oh. No, it’s just Philip Kingston dressed up in drag. Happy Halloween!
- Earlier this week, Kyle Rains posted a link on the Lakewood, Dallas Facebook page to an old article in Texas Monthly written by our own Pulitzer Prize winner Lawrence Wright, who graduated from Woodrow in ’65. Wright talks about Dallas and the JFK assassination in his article, “Why do they hate us so much?” If you have some time — OK, lots of time because it’s a looong article — give it a looksie.
- Comedian Dylan Moran visited the Lakewood Theater last Friday. Theater Jones posted a review about his performance. Obviously it’s too late to go to the show now, but her write-up is a good excuse to learn more about a comedian. At the bottom of the page there’s a video, so you can check out his stuff — although I’ll warn you, once you start watching it’s hard to stop.
