Liberty Burger, the new hamburger joint in Lakewood Shopping Center, looks a lot like a Liberty Burger these days. The sign is up, and green and blue tiles give the front a fun, funky feel. Mariel Street, the managing partner of the location, says they’re 95 percent finished with the work. Street plans to serve burgers and beers at tables in the breezeway, and she’s still waiting to find out if she’ll be able to set up tables on the back patio.
Looks like there’s still a bit more to do on the inside, but the window is already sporting a “Now Hiring” sign. Call 214.7972738, if you’re interested in applying. More details to come.
