shakespeare-in-the-parkShakespeare Dallas is slated to present three William Shakespeare plays for the 2013 season of Shakespeare in the Park.

First up is A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by guest Director Sara Romersberger. It will run June 20- July 20 at the Samuell Grand Amphitheatre. Performance time is 8:15 p.m. for all shows.

Pericles is the second production in the 2013 Shakespeare in the Park season, and is directed by Executive and Artistic Director Raphael Parry. Performances at the Samuell Grand Amphitheatre run June 12- July 19. Performance time is 8:15 p.m. for all shows.

The 2013 Shakespeare in the Park season closes with Shakespeare’s Classic The Winter’s Tale, directed by Artistic Associate Rene’ Moreno. The production opens with performances at the Samuell Grand Amphitheatre September 18. The Winter’s Tale will conclude with performances at Addison Circle Park October 13. Performance time is 8:00 p.m. for all shows.

Tickets to Shakespeare in the Park performances on Thursdays through Sundays are $10 adults/$7 seniors and students. For Tuesday and Wednesday productions a $10 donation is requested. Children 12 and under are free. Ticket information is available online.
