Clay Liford, a filmmaker who lives in Exposition Park, is known for his short “My Mom Smokes Weed” and the feature film “Earthling”, which screened at SXSW in 2010. Checkout our Q&A with him from last year.
The guy is prolific. His latest feature, “Wuss”, is premiering at SXSW next month.
“Wuss” is about a high school teacher whose students bully him, and it was filmed entirely in the Dallas area, including South Garland High School.
The film’s producers include neighborhood resident Eric Steele and his Texas Theatre partners Barak Epstein and Adam Donaghey, as well as Dallas businessman Bala Shagrithaya.
