Sculptor J. Brough Miller died last September. His family will be recognized at a reception in Lakewood this weekend.

The Lakewood Library Friends plan to unveil their new website during the Lakewood Library Friends member appreciation reception this weekend, Saturday, Jan. 29 at 2 p.m.

While researching Lakewood Library history for the new website, member Annie Adams learned that the renowned artist, J. Brough Miller, who created the steel sculptures on the library grounds died last September. Members of his family will attend Saturday’s reception.

The Lakewood Library friends plan to announce officially at the reception that they will dedicate the annual Lakewood Library art show in May to Miller.
