In the last month, property crimes hit a year high in the city of Dallas.
This peak was marked between June 28 and July 5, where there were 1,453 property crimes reported. Violent crime and general “other” crimes were also heightened that week, but each then dropped in the last two weeks.
Between July 12 and July 19, there were 326 property crimes, 180 “other” crimes, 64 violent crimes, 1 nonviolent crime and 0 financial crimes in Dallas.

The most common crimes in East Dallas and Lakewood in recent days have been property-related.
In the last 100 days, crimes in Dallas have commonly occurred in the early hours of Friday Saturday and Sunday, as well as Wednesday and Friday in the early and late evenings.
