Thursday may have brought grey skies but that didn’t dampen the celebratory mood at 7331 Gaston Ave.
With the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce at hand, the Dallas White Rock Clinic was officially opened at 5 p.m. with a ribbon cutting. The FRONTLINE ER clinic has its doors open to patients and will work as a full-service ER complete with diagnostic care.
Marcus Gurske, FRONTLINE ER marketing director, said the planning and building process for the new building began about a year ago with construction wrapped up in August.
The freestanding emergency center is mean to help with the amount of people visiting hospital ER rooms while also providing 24/7 access.
Gurske notes that the Gaston building is the second FRONTLINE center (the other being in Richmond) and they plan to open more in the future.
“It’s a great opportunity for people to have access to emergency care,” Gurske says. “We can offer the same level or actually a greater level of care because we’re alleviating the wait times in the emergency rooms.”
