A new coffee shop is opening in East Dallas, but don’t plan on spending your workday there just yet. LDU Coffee is opening its third Dallas location by Hypnotic Donuts on Garland Road, but this shop is different than most. LDU doesn’t have wifi.
“We’re not trying to be that workspace that a lot of people associate with a neighborhood coffee shop,” owner Adam Lowe told the Dallas Morning News.

Along with his brother, Mark Lowe, the pair want their shops to give off a feeling of their home country, Australia. Lowe described the shops there as a fun and fast paced place to catch up with a friend instead of spending time on your devices, reported the Dallas Morning News.
LDU’s original location is on Fitzhugh Avenue and the second is on Preston Road in University Park. The Garland Road location is expected to open in August 2021.
