The Greenville Avenue store opened in June 2018 at 1929 Greenville Ave., which is next to The Laboratory.

As of publication, the company has not responded to the Advocate‘s request for more information, including when the East Dallas location closed.

Creamistry makes each scoop by flash freezing a dairy or non-dairy ice cream or sorbet base with liquid nitrogen.

A couple of stores specializing in frozen treats are still open within walking distance of the store on Greenville Avenue, including Jeni’s Ice Creams, which opened last fall in the old Steel City Pops space, and Botolino Gelato Artigianale.

Another Creamistry is located on North Akard Street near Victory Park. The company also has locations in California, Arizona, Louisiana and Georgia.
