PARK is the new venture from chef Marc Cassel, who gained notoriety in Dallas as head chef for Firefly at Hotel ZaZa and the now-closed Green Room. The restaurant, which is nextdoor to Barcadia, is set to open this month.
The media release states: "The 7,500-square-foot space includes five distinct rooms: the Garden, the Bar, the Dining Room, Cocktail Lounge and the Bocce Bar with two full-size Bocce-Ball courts." It doesn’t get specific about the food, other than to say that Cassel is calling it "collision cuisine."
The restaurant’s other partners are designer Breck Woolsey, landscape specialist Jason Pautz and entrepreneur Donald Chick, who had been a partner in La Condessa at Victory Park, which closed recently.
