While police search for a rapist who has victimized White Rock area women, women in the White Rock area are taking action to protect themselves.
The Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League and the Lake Highlands Area Early Childhood PTA are sponsoring a self defense workshop Wednesday (March 27) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the main gym at Lake Highlands High School, 9449 Church.
East Dallas-based Chamberlain Studios of Self Defense will lead the class.
This workshop is open to teens and adults and is free. Participants should wear loose clothing. Rape Crisis information will also be available.
