East Dallas nightlife has turned fatally violent twice in the past week.
In the most recent incident, a cab driver shot and killed a passenger he says was trying to rob him. That happened about 3 a.m. near Moser and Capitol, about a block off the nightlife hot spot that is North Henderson.
Last week, a 32-year-old man was killed in a gunfight outside a Lower Greenville bar.
