Brewskis, suds, cold ones, malt. As Homer Simpson puts it, “Mmmm. Beer.”
Central Market’s Brewtopia started today and runs through Oct. 5. The schedule of events includes free tastings and appearances from well-known brewmasters and brewery owners, including brewmaster Garret Oliver of Brooklyn Brewery, St. Arnold founder Brock Wagner, and Real Ale owner Brad Farbstein.
There’s a “beer round-up” Friday at 6:30 p.m., which includes eight beer samples, paired with sausage, cheese, bread and crackers. Tickets are $30 per person or $20 each if you buy more than one ticket.
And there are several beer-themed cooking classes, such as this one with Kent Rathburn and on Sept. 27, a Shiner beer dinner class.
