The Navy’s elite maneuver team, the Blue Angels, flew over our neighborhood Wednesday in a salute to health care workers and first responders battling the coronavirus.

Neighbors stepped out of their homes to catch a glimpse of the team performing its 35-minute flight over the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Our photographer, Danny Fulgencio, captured these images from the Margaret McDermott Bridge.

The Blue Angels urged people not to travel to the event, which is intended to champion national unity in the face of the pandemic. After Dallas, the team also flew over Houston and New Orleans.
