Dallas-based Blockbuster is in pretty bad shape. And employees of the Lower Greenville video store found out Monday that store is closing in April.
The store’s liquidation sale will start Feb. 28, and the store closes April 21. Blockbuster’s other Lakewood-area store, at Mockingbird and Hillside, closed in December 2009.
Blockbuster’s departure leaves that shopping center empty. Whole Foods moved out in 2009, but still leases its former space for storage.
