Blackfriar Pub is planning to open in Lakewood soon.
This will be the second location for the pub; the first is on McKinney Avenue in Uptown.
“Whether you’re a sports junkie, seeking classic pub food or even specialty Irish fare, or maybe just love a good cocktail, we’ve definitely got you covered,” Blackfriar writes in a Facebook post.
The pub expects to open in August at 6341 La Vista Drive, according to the post. This is the former Full Circle Tavern space.
At Blackfriar Pub, visitors can order traditional pub food such as fish and chips, pretzels, burgers and more. For drinks, there are craft cocktails and a selection of European beers and whiskey, Scotch and American bourbons. Lunch, dinner and brunch will be served.
The pub will have lots of TVs for watching sports, and there’s a dog-friendly patio.
