The restaurant at 718 N. Buckner Blvd. will offer dinner service Monday through Sunday, with weekend lunch and patio dining beginning in early 2021.

The menu will feature all-American fare inspired by co-founders Todd and Jennifer Dickerson’s family recipes. Sandwiches are the star menu items and include the BarNone burger, a meatloaf sandwich on a brioche bun and a traditional grilled cheese with options to enhance.

Main dish options include chopped steak with freshly ground wagyu beef, Sunday gravy and rigatoni or salmon fish and chips. For a healthy option, try Jennifer’s salad, featuring baby spinach, romaine hearts, garlic mushrooms and a free-range egg.

Round out the meal with starters, such as secret recipe wings, stuffed mushrooms or cheesesteak eggrolls

Many of the the ingredients will be sourced locally from places like Jimmy’s Food Store.

“We are so excited to open our doors and offer the best food, spirits and service…bar none,” Todd Dickerson said. “We want BarNone to be a place that everyone feels comfortable, whether coming from the office or from nearby White Rock Lake. As longtime East Dallas residents, we look forward to welcoming the community with warm hospitality, signature drinks and our all-American fare.”

At the bar, guests can expect signature drinks, cocktails, beer and wine offerings, including some from Times Ten Cellars.

The restaurant’s interior is a modern take on the grand saloons of 1950s-era Manhattan. The dining room features a 40-foot, copper-topped bar, and the outdoor patio will open soon.

BarNone was set to open in spring 2020 but was delayed because of the coronavirus. All COVID-19 protocols will be followed, including occupancy below the state-mandated 50 percent capacity to ensure seated tables are 6 feet apart. Guests will be required to wear masks until seated, and BarNone servers and staff members will wear masks and gloves at all times.
