“No Hay que Llorar” is a work from one of Argentina’s most beloved playwrights, Roberto Cossa. Centro Argentino DFW is producing the play, which opens at the Bath House Cultural Center Friday.

It plays Friday and Saturday, Aug. 19-20, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5-$10.

The play follows an elderly mother who is visited by her children on her birthday.

The synopsis states: “No Hay que Llorar is an acute portrait of the middle class in Argentina that exposes the affections, meanness, and greediness that intertwine in a family reunion.”
