This weekend, the Dallas Arboretum will host a Memorial Day Family Fun Weekend with family-friendly activities and live performances.
Admission is included with garden admission or membership.
The weekend events will begin on Saturday, May 27 and run through Memorial Day. Tickets purchased to the garden will also include admission to the Children’s Adventure Garden, courtesy of a gift from the William G. Kelley Family.
For younger guests, there will be a petting zoo 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. each day; story time is at 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Additionally, there will be a live pianist 12-2 p.m. at Jeanne’s Pavilion and a live band 2-4 p.m. at the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn.
As part of the Memorial Day celebration, all active military personnel, veterans and first responders will receive free admission on Monday.
