All gardens are open except The Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden. Arboretum staff have created a 1-mile path around the garden to make it easier to tour while social distancing. Guests can also see what’s growing at A Tasteful Place, a 3.5-acre potager garden, pavilion and kitchen.

Timed tickets must be purchased online in advance. Face masks are required in restrooms and indoor spaces, and they are encouraged in the garden.

“People have been sheltering in place and need someplace where they can be outside to enjoy nature in a socially distant fashion,” said Arboretum board chairman Alan Walne. “The Dallas Arboretum is the perfect place to do so at an affordable price, so we welcome you to let nature nurture you.”
