East Dallas’ Sharon Hage, whose York Street restaurant on Skillman has a national reputation, has been nominated for a Beard award, the cooking equivalent of the Academy Awards. Hage has been nominated for best chef in the Southwest. This year, hopefully, she’ll actually get the award, since this is at least the fourth time she has been nominated, without winning.
