Around April 3, a woman on the 5900 block of Martel came home to find her rear gate open and the motion sensor lights unscrewed in her back yard.

The alert says there was another report of someone finding their dog being put in his crate in the backyard when the owners didn’t put him there.

On April 8, a woman in the 5800 block on Monticello found a chair in her backyard that had been moved to the fence, seemingly in an attempt to climb over the fence. On the same block, a man checked his security video and found a possible prowler in the alley around 2:30 a.m. The prowler had also attempted to access his backyard, according to the alert. Below is the video of the possible prowler. It shows an image of a man with a goatee wearing gloves.

According to the email alert, no burglaries have been reported, but it urges people to take precautions and to contact the police or Lower Greenville Crime Watch if see the man in the video or notice any more suspicious activity in the area.
