Two years ago Woodrow Wilson High School graduate Grace Choi got the chance of a lifetime. She was named as one of two recipients of Meijer’s title sponsor exemptions, allowing her to compete among a field of professionals at the Meijer LPGA Classic as a college sophomore.

But long-time readers already know about Choi’s golfing prowess. Last year, her top-20 finish at the Wildcat Invitational pushed her team into 7th place at the college tournament. In 2013 she was Woodrow Wilson’s valedictorian. That was the same year she won the 4-A state golf championship by 12 strokes, which was also her third consecutive appearance at state. And at age 13, Choi was the youngest ever to win the Dallas Junior Golf Tournament.
