Linda England, also known as Linda Marie Ford, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 21, according to her family in an Instagram post

“Our hearts are broken, and our family is devastated,” reads the post. “To know Linda was to be loved, and Linda loved everyone. So so very much.”

The family’s message asks the public for their thoughts and prayers while also announcing that the funeral service and reception will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 27 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at Abrams Road and Kenwood Avenue.

“All who would like to celebrate Linda are welcome to attend.”

Linda’s window messages began during the COVID-19 pandemic when she applied letters to her windows to wish her father a happy 80th birthday. This message was a hit, and she continued to post celebratory announcements as well as jokes and political statements. Here are a few examples: “What’s A Pig With No Legs? A Groundhog!”, “Hate Never Made Any Nation Great” and “With Unity We Can Do Great Things.” One of her most recent window posts called attention to the No Kings protest at Dallas City Hall.
