Steve Miller celebrated his birthday this week.
The Woodrow Wilson alumnus turned 78 on Tuesday, and the school’s Facebook page marked the day with a throwback photo. He’s shown throwing the discus.
According to the post, Miller loved being a part of the music scene in Dallas when he was growing up. At one point, he was even given some tips by legendary blues musician T-Bone Walker.
Miller attended Woodrow after he left St. Mark’s School of Texas in Preston Hollow.

Most recently, the band put out a call on social media, telling neighbors to look out for “Living in the USA” in the new film “The Many Saints of Newark.”
