Medallion Animal Clinic announced it is closing permanently.
The clinic, located on Abrams Road near E. Northwest Highway, will close Friday.
It posted a note on its website saying neighbors can request their pets‘ records by contacting the clinic via email at medallionanimalclinic@gmail.com. Neighbors should also contact the clinic to pick up any pet cremains by Oct. 25.
The clinic could not be immediately reached for a reason as to the closure. But a note on the website says any neighbors who want follow-up care with Dr. Tom Shook can reach out to him at Chisholm Ridge Pet Hospital in Saginaw starting Nov. 1. The number for that clinic is 817-234-9919.
Shook became a partner at Medallion Animal Clinic in 1997 and the sole owner in 2009.
