Police got an early start in the neighborhood this morning. For more than four hours police have surrounded a home on Estacado after several armed robbery suspects locked themselves inside. The incident began around 3:45 a.m., according to CBS DFW. Police arrived on scene after the victim of an armed robbery saw the suspects run into a nearby home.
When officers showed up the lights in the home were turned off. Police knocked on the door and even used a bullhorn, but there was no response.
Just after 7 a.m. two of the suspects — a male and a female — exited the house, the CBS report says. They were placed in handcuffs and removed from the scene. Another male suspect surrendered shortly after. A fourth suspect is believed to be in the house, that is still surrounded by police.
