I’ve heard many a discussion over whether this recession or depression (or whatever you feel comfortable calling it) will lead to some sort of federal government "new, new deal". "The WPA, as well as other government programs, also bolstered the city’s arts and music scene. At Long Middle School, artist Olin Travis painted a mural in the library."

The WPA also built a picnic shelter at Tietze Park.
