The bar will re-open in the former space of Fiction Coffee at 1623 N Hall St. after “permanently closing” in 2020 after 10 years of operating in Deep Ellum, according to Eater Dallas.

Founder Gabe Sanchez and Ryan Payne, owners of Saint Valentine, are behind the revival of Black Swan Saloon, along with partners Brian Rutt, who owns Alice and Colombian Country Club, and Pasha Heidari of St. Martin’s and Bowen House, Mike’s Gemini, according to The Dallas Morning News.

The bar plans to open in the coming weeks with final touches along the way.

Not much will change at Black Swan; the establishment plans to mimic the swankiness of its original Deep Ellum location.

The new bar will have a dark, intimate setting and will include the Clint Eastwood velvet painting from the original location along with additional music-based art from friends.  One of the biggest difference at Black Swan will be the addition of a menu including innovative cocktails.
