Last Friday after a human fetus was discovered in the girls restroom at Woodrow Wilson High School police were treating the school as a crime scene.

Today a police representative says that no criminal charges will be filed and that the incident has been ruled a miscarriage.
“We have spoken to all involved,” notes public information officer Monica Cordova. “There is no criminal case to file in regards to the fetus.”
In a letter to parents last Friday, Woodrow principal Kyle Richardson noted that counselors would be on hand today to assist students and staff.
“As serious a situation as this is, we will work through this as a school community as best we can,” Richardson wrote. “We appreciate your patience and continued support during this time.”
