Thirty Woodrow Wilson High School graduates received $47,500 in scholarships from the school’s community foundation before heading off to college in the fall.
“We congratulate and honor the 2020 recipients, who graduated during unprecedented times and wish them continued success as they pursue their higher education goals,” said Richard Vitale, president of the Woodrow Wilson Community Foundation.
Since the inception of the scholarship program in 2009, the foundation has provided nearly $300,000 in financial aid to more than 170 students.
