EDITOR’S NOTE: If you missed attending the televised Woodrow Wilson High School football pep rally, here’s a link to the three-minute video of football players mugging for the camera, cheerleaders cheering, the band and Sweethearts entertaining, and and pretty lame dance-off between a couple of teachers.

Woodrow Wilson super-alum Kyle Rains just sent this notice:

“Fox4News will be televising the Woodrow pep rally starting at 8:15 a.m. Friday morning, Nov. 9. Alums, parents and community members are welcome to attend — enter side door by front parking lot (next to attendance office) and bypass the student line (come to the front). The rally is in the girl’s gym, so take the stairs up to the stands from inside, do not enter from the second floor hallway.

“Woodrow will play Hillcrest for a chance at a playoff spot at 7:30 p.m. at Franklin Field off Hillcrest Road just north of Walnut Hill, by Hillcrest. Otherwise this will be the last game of the season.

“Everyone is encouraged to meet after the game at The Pour House, 1919 Skillman at LaVista, where there will be a tribute to the memory of Candy Post, a super-supportive parent who passed away Tuesday night.”
