Woodrow Wilson students qualified for State with their Mock Trial team.
Out of 160 teams, 24 advance to State, which will be held in Dallas on March 8 and 9. In addition, three members of the team received special recognition. Kimberly Tepera was one of the 10 students nominated for best witness in the competition. Stephanie Arnold and Luke Whitten were 2 of 10 students nominated for best advocate in the competition.
If they qualify for semifinals, the rounds will go on until 7 p.m. on the 9th. If not, they will end at about 1:30 p.m. at the close of the Awards Luncheon at Belo Mansion.
