Barbara Holdsworth, a 1979 Woodrow Wilson High School graduate who grew up on Lakeshore, is a victim of the shooting at Texas A&M University Monday that resulted in three deaths.

“Barbara Holdsworth, a 51-year-old who friends said was in College Station helping her Aggie daughter move out of a home near Fidelity Street, was in critical condition at St. Joseph hospital in Bryan after undergoing surgery for a gunshot wound.”

Holdsworth lives in Houston.

The 35-year-old gunman, Thomas Caffall, was shot and killed by police after he opened fire from his apartment, killing Brazos County Constable Brian Bachmann. Caffall also killed 43-year-old Chris Northcliff of College Station.
