The mock trial teams from Woodrow Wilson and Bryan Adams both advanced to the quarterfinals.
They are among 19 teams from Dallas ISD high schools participating in the Dallas ISD Regional Mock Trial Competition at the George Allen Courthouse.
Each team competed for three rounds, and the top eight schools moved to the quarterfinal round, held Jan. 27.
The other schools that advanced are Booker T. Washington, Gilliam Collegiate Academy, Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet, Science and Engineering Magnet, Skyline High School and School for the Talented and Gifted.
One student each from Booker T. and W.H. Adamson High School will participate in the state competition.
Finals are set for Feb. 5 at the courthouse.
