It’s National Donut Day, and within East Dallas’ donut hub, there are plenty of places to celebrate the holiday.
In Chicago in 1938, the first-ever National Donut Day was celebrated to honor the history of the Salvation Army’s Donut Lassies, since its inception, the annual celebration has been held on the first Friday in June.
