There will be prizes for the ugliest and most creative sweaters. Bring a $25 cash donation, and there will be beer, wine, and food provided with the donation. New Friends New Life restores and empowers formerly trafficked girls and sexually exploited women and their children by providing access to education, job training, interim financial assistance, mental health and spiritual support.

Cityscape, an engaging and educational exhibit featuring several Dallas landmarks comprised of more than 2.5 million blocks and other toy-building supplies. Families can stroll through the amazing exhibit, enjoy: interactive play at special building stations and even put personal creations on display. DALLAS CITYSCAPE benefits East Dallas Community Schools, a non-profit organization that operates early childhood learning centers with programs to meet the needs of children from birth to age nine. $5 for adults and children ages 2 and up; Children’s ticket includes a special prize.

This Monday, Dec. 23, Homes for Defenders of Freedom, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting deployed troops around the world and veterans transitioning to civilian life, will host its second “Home Presentation” event and present a local Army Sergeant and his family with the keys to a new, mortgage-free home in Dallas.
