St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and School are hosting its annual carnival this Saturday, Sept. 21, from noon-9 p.m. The theme this year is “Camp Wildcat” and will include rides, games, food and beverages, cake wheel, hair painting, face painting, and much more. Also, Bingo Night is Friday, Sept. 20 from 5:30-10:30 p.m. Money raised supports teacher bonuses, student scholarships, technology improvements, and general operating costs at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School.  Friends and neighbors are welcome. St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School is located at 3741 Abrams Road. Check out the website for more, or call 214-826-0566. Park Cities Pet Sitter is participating in a Presents 4 Pets supply drive benefiting Big Fix for Big D and the Humane Society of Dallas County. They are sponsoring a “SUV Stuff” on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Pet Supplies Plus on Mockingbird Lane. SFD 165 WINTERS TALE small“A sad tale’s best for winter,” so Shakespeare Dallas will present The Winter’s Tale to kick off the cooler season. This production will close out Shakespeare in the Park’s 2013 season, with performances at both Samuell Grand and Addison Circle Parks. Performances began Sept. 18 and will run through Sept. 28 at the Samuell Grand Amphitheatre, 1500 Tenison Parkway in Dallas, then from Oct. 2-13 at Addison Circle Park, 4970 Addison Circle. All shows begin at 8 p.m.
