Saturday is dog day at White Rock Lake. The sixth annual Walk & Wag and Run is Saturday at 8 a.m., and this year’s race benefits the YMCA at White Rock and For the Love of the Lake. Early registration has ended, but humans can pay $35 starting at 7 a.m. Saturday to register for the 5k or 10k race and get a T-shirt. Registration for one canine is included in that fee.
Other events include a 3k walk and agility course, which has a $15 entry fee for one human and one pet. It’s $5 for each additional pet or human. There’s also a 1k kids race, which is $5 per person. And the "Howl-o-ween" kids fair is $5 per person and pet.
