The neighborhood association will use the money to buy street-sign toppers for the neighborhood. Their current sign toppers are over 20 years old and are bleached from the sun.

The association also will make donations to Animal Rescue of Texas and James B. Bonham Elementary School, which was the original Vickery Place School, built before 1920.
