On June 1, Dallas ISD announced its 2023 valedictorians and salutatorians. These students graduated No.1 and No.2 in their classes.

According to the DISD website, these seniors “have tirelessly pursued excellence resulting in their well-deserved positions as the foremost and second-highest achievers among their graduating class.”

East Dallas DISD students honored include:

Woodrow Wilson

Valedictorian: Eleanor Laird (Washington University in St. Louis)

Salutatorian: Kiera Ruibal (Tulane)

Bryan Adams High School Leadership Academy

Valedictorian: Malcolm Cronjaeger (UT Austin)

Salutatorian: Jack Whalen (Boston College)

Woodrow Wilson’s Laird was recently selected to receive the Class of 1971 Dennis Roe Memorial Scholarship from the Woodrow Wilson High School Community Foundation. Ruibal will be a member of Tulane’s cheer team.
