The indoor dog park on Samuell Blvd. is closing after Sunday, June 13. Owners Cody and Kelly Acree announced they’re closing Unleashed Indoor Dog Park on their website last week.
The 50,000-square-foot facility was the first of its kind anywhere, but it opened just after the recession hit. Unleashed is closing out everything in its store, but the owners say they’ve got plans for another similar business.

“…we have also developed a revision of our original plan that will take Unleashed in a new direction – namely one that brings individual locations to a neighborhood near you soon.
“Customer needs, and the toughest economy in recent times, have helped us reach this decision for which we are currently seeking private investors, with plans to re-launch Unleashed Indoor Dog Parks version 2.0 within the next year.”
