East Dallas has always been notorious for its good eats, at least that’s what we believe, but it’s nice to hear it reconfirmed by outside sources.

Texas Monthly released its list of “Texas’ Best New Restaurants in 2024,” with Quarter Acre and Via Triozzi making the cut for top 10 restaurants.

Quarter Acre – which opened on December 30, 2022 – ranked third as one of the best new restaurants in the state. The New Zealand-inspired dining consists of head chef and owner Toby Archibald’s dishes such as fresh seafood, meats and desserts. This new upscale restaurant is nestled between Trader Joe’s and Manpuku at 2023 Greenville Ave.

Via Triozzi clinches the eighth spot. The restaurant, named after a street in Scandicci, Italy, offers authentic plates and wines inspired by owner Leigh Hutchinson’s short time living in the country. The restaurant is located around the corner from Quarter Acre at 1806 Greenville Ave., which opened Aug. 16.

These two Greenville Avenue locations are the only Dallas dining spots to have made the top 10 list of best new restaurants.
