The Texas Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin traffic signal improvements at the Garland-Gaston-Grand intersection this summer.
The improvements will include upgrades to pedestrian features, signage, pavement markings and reconstruction of traffic signals.
Construction will begin in July and is expected to be complete by March 2022.
TxDOT, through a grant from the Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration, will provide $90,215 to reimburse material and labor for the reconstruction of the traffic signals.
The Dallas City Council approved the agreement Wednesday.
