May 16, lace up your tennies for the Scholarship 5k. This race benefits the Dallas ISD Superintendent’s Scholarship Fund, which has awarded more than $2 million in scholarships to graduating seniors. This is the first year of the run, which is replacing a golf tournament that had been the main fundraiser. The Dallas Arboretum is hosting its annual concert series. Every Thursday night, the Arboretum hosts a different band on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn.
