The Woodrow Wilson High School girls’ soccer team plays Carter High School in a playoff game at 8 p.m. tonight, Thursday, March 24 at Kincaide Stadium.
The Woodrow sophomore class garage sale is from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at White Rock YMCA. You can still donate to the sale from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday.
J.L. Long students in the Thriving Minds program created and branded a line of chocolates, Chocolate Tree, to benefit the Whole Planet Foundation. They will be selling their white, milk, and bittersweet chocolate bark and truffles on the patio at Whole Foods Lakewood Saturday. The students collaborated with Jennifer Kindert of Thriving Minds/Big Thought, Carla Chavez of Whole Foods, and Olina Nikolini of NCuisine to create Chocolate Tree.
