Sure you know Saturday is a big day in Dallas with the Greenville Avenue parade/ party and all but if you’re more of a stay-in-one-place, drink-green-beer and listen-to-great-tunes kind-a person, hit the Green Elephant for neighborhood native Celtic rockers the Killdares, who performed on Good Morning Texas this morning.

Green Elephant doors open Saturday at 9 a.m., Killdares go on at noon, and tickets are $15 at the door.

But don’t party too hard — Rock to Victory half marathon runners might be stampeding through your ‘hood early Sunday morning (and it’s not too late to register for that either if you’re feeling especially pumped).
