This Saturday, May 2, the North Texas Master Naturalists will host its third annual Native Plants & Prairies Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Bath House Cultural Center grounds on White Rock Lake. This free event includes activities for children to educate them about birds, snakes, bugs and plants. There will be 30 demonstration and information outreach booths, 30-minute wildflower and prairie walks beginning at 10:30 a.m., and a series of speakers giving short lectures of 25 minutes each on the hour and half-hour starting at 10:30 a.m.

The Dallas Arboretum is hosting its annual concert series. Every Thursday night, the Arboretum hosts a different band on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn.
